The trade union of the assembling workshop of Hefei Zhongchen Light Industrial Machinery Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as “Hefei Zhongchen Company” hereinafter.) has been awarded as “National Model Workers’ Home” of the year 2008. On July 9th Ms. Jia Yanmin, the chairman of trade union of finance, trade, light industry and tobacco of China General Trade Union and the member of [the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference personally came to Hefei Zhongchen Company to host the grand ceremony of award. The leaders taking part in the ceremony includes Mr. Wang Xiaojing, the director of the office of trade union of finance, trade, light industry and tobacco of China General Trade Union, Mr. Li Weiyong, deputy chairman of Anhui Provincial General Trade Union, Mr. Yuan Wenchang, deputy chairman of Hefei Municipal General Trade Union, Ms. Kang Ling, chairman of Trade Union of Hefei Light Industry and Textile, Mr. Hao Shouquan, vice secretary of party committee of China Construction Material and Light Industry Group, and Mr. Yu Changzheng, chairman of Trade Union of China Construction Material and Light Industry Group etc.

Mr. Yu Changzheng hosted the award ceremony, and Mr. Wang Xiaojing read “the decision of awarding national model workers’ home by China General Trade Union” (Gen. Tra.No. [2008]21). Among the warm applause, Ms. Jia Yanming and Mr. Li Weiyong awarded the plate and certificate respectively.

In the ceremony filled with jubilation, Ms. Jia Yanmin, Mr. Li Weiyong and Mr. Hao Shouquan gave enthusiastic speech one after the other.

Ms. Jia fully affirmed the achievement made in the past by the assembling workshop of Hefei Zhongchen Company and transferred high hopes to their future work. She wishes the assembling workshop will develop better activities and construct a better workers’ home so as to realize as soon as possible the goal of Hefei Zhongchen Company: most excellent personnel, most excellent equipment and most excellent product to compete with international advanced companies in the same trade.

Finally Ms. Jia pointed out: “To fulfill the task specified by the 17th Session of Communist Party and realize the steady and healthy development of the trade, we are shouldering heavy and glorious task. We believe Hefei Zhongchen Company will certainly contribute more via the effort of all the employees and the new aspect of energetic mood and good achievement of the enterprise will certainly be opened up.

Mr. Hao Shouquan called on all the trade unions in the group shall take the trade union of the assembling workshop of Hefei Zhongchen Company as the example, guided by “the theory of Mr. Deng Xiaoping” and “Three Representatives”. The scientific development conception shall be deeply implemented and the implementation of “ work rules for trade unions of enterprises” shall be enforced.

Mr. Gao Guangkai, the representative of the assembling workshop of Hefei Zhongchen Company also gave speech in the ceremony.

After over of ceremony, Ms. Jia, Mr. Li, Mr. Hao and Mr. Yu etc. visited the workshops of the company, looked in the workers working in the production line and took a group souvenir photo with all the members in the awarded trade union.(Refer to the picture.)
